ATHENS – BeST Transit’s general-public fixed route to the Lycoming Mall from Bradford and Sullivan counties will begin deviating to the YMCA in Muncy upon request beginning Friday, Oct. 19, 2018.
The Lycoming Mall fixed-route, which runs on Fridays only, makes a number of scheduled stops throughout Bradford County and has stops at the Sullivan Terrace, Dushore, (9:35 a.m.), county courthouse in Laporte (9:45 a.m.) and the Sonestown Market (9:55 a.m.) in Sullivan County. However, passengers may flag-stop the BeST Transit bus along Route 220 where it is safe for the bus to pull over.
The YMCA is located at 50 Fitness Drive, Muncy, Pa., near the Lycoming Mall. Anticipated arrival at the YMCA would approximately 10:35 a.m. Departure time from the YMCA would be 2:30 p.m.
A registered senior (65 or over) can ride the fixed-route at no cost, the adult fare is $2/each direction, and a student can ride for $1.
